GENERAL POLICIES

Registration

How to register for a class or trial:

      Age Group/ Levels

The School at Peridance will place all students into the most appropriate level allowing them to progress safely through our programs.
      • All students are generally placed in classes by age with utmost consideration for level and experience.
      • Final placements will be determined after the first few weeks, once we have a full assessment of individual students and all classes.
      • A trial or placement class may be recommended to determine proper fit of level and ability for each class

Payment

All registration will take place via Jotform. Upon submission of the form, an administrator will send an invoice with your tuition balance. Balances must be paid within 72 hours of receiving the invoice to guarantee your child's spot in the class for the semester. If a balance is not paid within 72 hours, you will forfeit your spot in the class. Payment options include year in full, by semester, or payment plan. REGISTRATION IS NOT FINALIZED UNTIL TUITION HAS BEEN RECEIVED!
Please note all classes reflect a full (36 week) curriculum. Open Track and Young Mover students are encouraged, but not required, to participate in both semesters.

    Tuition Payment Options:

    1. Year in Full
Pay for both the Fall and Spring semester before July 1st to receive the highest tuition discount!

    2. By Semester
Pay for each semester separately. Be sure to register for the Spring Semester by December 8th to ensure your child's spot in their same class for the Spring Semester. After December 8th, students may switch days/times or new students may join.
Fall Semester Early Bird Tuition available to tuition paid on/before July 1, 2023
Spring Semester Early Bird Tuition available to tuition paid December 1 - December 15, 2023

    3. Payment Plan

All tuition and fees are nonrefundable.

    Registration Fees

There is a $50.00 registration fee for all students. Students taking multiple classes only pay 1 registration fee. Registration fees are non refundable. For 2023/2024, the registration fee is waived with the Annual Early Bird payment option. New students for Spring 2024 are subject to a registration fee.

    Multi Class & Sibling Discounts

Multi Class and Sibling Discounts (5% tuition discount off 2nd, 3rd, etc. class) are applicable towards Toddler, Young Movers and Open Track classes. Discount is taken off of lower tuition and will be reflected in your invoice.

    Trial Classes

Trial classes are offered during the first week of the semester. You may register for a trial by completing the registration form. Trial classes are $35.00, hold a dancer's spot in the class for the semester, and would be applied towards tuition for the class if they do decide to enroll. After a trial class, a school administrator will reach out to confirm class placement and finalize registration. Tuition must be submitted before the student's first official class of the semester or a late tuition fee will be applied.

    Prorated Tuition

The School at Peridance will happily welcome new students into our programs should we have space available in the class. Students will be required to take a trial class first to ensure they are placed in the appropriate level and that both the teacher and student feel they are able to join in the curriculum with a late start. Prorated tuition is not offered by week but in three separate enrollment periods over the course of the semester.

Referral Discount (New for Fall 2023!)

Current families who refer a new family who enroll in The School at Peridance can each receive $50.00 off their tuition. New students must note the family who referred them in their registration form and referral credits will be included in each family's tuition invoice. Referrals received after Fall tuition was submitted can be credited towards future tuition. Credits expire one year after the date of issue. If the new student is attending their first class as a trial, referral credits will only be issued once the new student enrolls for the semester.

    Spring Performances

All students enrolled in the Spring Semester (excluding Parent & Toddler and Toddler Dancing) are part of our end of year concerts! Concert dates will be announced at the beginning of the Spring Semester. Attendance in all classes two weeks before the performance date and attendance at tech/dress rehearsal is mandatory in order to perform!

    Late Fees

Tuition not received by the start of the semester* will incur a $30.00 non refundable late fee. Late fees will be charged each month until payment is received. Note that registration is not finalized until tuition is received.
*Trial class students will not receive a late fee as long as tuition is paid before their first official class of the semester.

    Refund / Cancellation Policy

There are NO REFUNDS once registrations and fees are processed and paid. TUITION AND FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE. In the event that your child is unable to attend class due to extenuating circumstances, a non transferable school credit may be considered. This credit is applicable towards future children's classes only and is not transferable to any adult programs. All classes are subject to cancellation dependent upon student enrollment. In such cases a school administrator will contact all students in advance to coordinate alternative class and tuition options. In the event that Peridance is unable to offer in-studio classes due to Covid-19 regulations, virtual classes will be offered. There will be NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS offered for classes that are transferred to a virtual platform Absences/Make Up Classes The School at Peridance is able to offer 2 make up classes per semester in the event of illness. Make up classes may be taken in the same style/level or a lower level class. Make up classes must be pre arranged with a school administrator 72 hours in advance of the class.

Responsibilities of Parents/Guardians

Any medical, physical or emotional needs your child may have should be discussed before enrolling your child so that the teacher can help develop a curriculum to better fit your child's individual needs. Please contact a school administrator to facilitate this process.

    In-Person Classes

    • NO children are allowed in the studios without a teacher present at any time.
    • Children under 12 must be accompanied by a caregiver while inside the building

Attendance

Please notify us in advance when students will be unable to attend class. This can be done via email to sap@peridance.com. Please see below for make up class information.

    Make-up Classes

We cannot allow make-up classes except in cases of illness. We regret this policy, but it is unavoidable due to the limit of students per class. Only two make-ups per class per session are permitted, please email a school administrator to make arrangements. Make-up classes may be scheduled in the same or similar class levels and must be done through the school administrator in advance.
