    Biography:

    Maiko Ikegaki was born in Tokyo Japan. She graduated from the Dallas Baptist University in Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Biology. She has worked as a personal trainer and has experience helping her clients with weight loss, heart disease, and diabetes. In addition, she is certified as a Pilates mat instructor with Teri Steel. She is currently the assistant of Nina Buisson at Peridance Center and at Valentina Kozlova’s Conservatory of New York. She also coordinates for Nina Buisson Dance group. In addition, she is a practitioner in Butoh and Taichi and a member of Vangeline Dance Theater.
