Taka Hiro
Hip
Hop
Biography:
Taka Hiro arrived in New York in 2004, and quickly established himself as a solo hip hop performer. Starting in 2005, he began competing and, by 2006, he had won the Showtime at the Apollo grand championship a record nine times for his unique solo performances. Aside from his own choreography, he has performed in many New York based groups including Angel Feliciano’s FDC. Taka Hiro was selected to perform with Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour in 2009. He also organized a 200-person flash mob in Tokyo for the Japanese Premiere.
