    Biography:

    Marjory Smarth was a pioneering artist, dancer . choreographer, teacher and cultural leader that helped build and share Hip-Hop and House dance culture around the world. Marjory has shared her knowledge and love for the culture all over the U.S, as well as Japan, London, Africa, Russia, Italy, Austria, Brazil, Canada,Taiwan, and other corners of the world. Marjory was born in Haiti and raised in New York City. Marjory started to take dance seriously at the age of 4. She. performed in shows and plays throughout elementary and high school. At age 17, she danced in her first music video with Hip-Hop duo "Super C & Cassanova Rud". For more than 30+ years, Marjory continued to dance professionally with artists such as Diana Ross, Heavy D, Cece Peniston and more. As her career blossomed she did everything from movies, stage performances, performing at the prestigious Jacob's Pillow, as well as being featured in many documentaries and films. To name a few "New Jack City", "Boomerang", "Strictly Business", house dance documentary, "CHECK YOUR BODY AT THE DOOR" and PBS documentary "House Of Tres". Marjory was a world renowned dancer/choreographer and inspirational speaker.
