Rachel Fallon
Contemporary
Biography:
Rachel trained at Manhattan Youth Ballet before attending the LINES Ballet Training Program. After she went on to dance with Sidra Bell Dance New York, and later Luzerner Theater in Switzerland. Rachel joined Hofesh Shechter Company in 2017 and has performed several works including; Political Mother, Grand Finale, Untitled, Clowns, The Fix, etc. She is still a dancer with the company, as well as teacher and photographer.
Class Description:
My class is based around improvisational tasks that help you connect to your sensations, and inner motivation to move. Through creating an open and trustworthy environment, I hope to build confidence to be able to explore storytelling through movement, with an emphasis on the present moment and allowing energy to flow freely. The class with finish with doing some phrase work that put this practice into more structured pathways.
