Eric Delgado
Choreography
Biography:
Eric Delgado is a movement artist and educator based in New Jersey & New York. He started his dance journey in 2010 and is currently the artistic director and co-owner of the award winning dance company Project D, a member of Shinsa the Collective, a New York City based dance company directed by Bo Park, and a cast member of Beyond Babel, an Off-Broadway theater dance show by Keone and Mari Madrid and Hideaway Circus. The knowledge he's gained from his experiences over the years has enabled him to travel and share his craft to so many different communities in Toronto, San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, New York, and of course all over New Jersey. Eric wishes to continue to grow not only as a dancer but as an artist, director, leader, teacher, and of course, as a human in the east coast and global dance community by sharing his ideas and love for dance to others and hopefully inspiring individuals along the way.Class Description:
Eric's class is for those who wish to challenge themselves mentally and physically with purpose and intention. On a technical level, Eric's choreography often emphasizes footwork, musicality, details, storytelling, and performance. However, the class centers around dance and movement as a language. He emphasizes that movement is unique to the individual and challenges his students to find their voices within the movement.
