Tomoko Ishikawa
Street Jazz
Biography:
Tomoko Ishikawa was born and raised in Tokyo, where she started her career as a dancer. She then moved to New York to find new inspiration. Tomoko has worked with various teachers and choreographers all over NYC. She has become busy with her own teaching and work. She has performed for various artists such as Cardi B, Missy Elliott, French Montana, Remy ma, Ciara, Madonna, Lil Kim, and Backstreet Boys. Also she is featured a fashion brand “Converse” commercial. Ishikawa has taught special workshops in studios all over Asia. She continues to garner attention in both NYC and Japan as an innovative hip hop dancer and choreographer.
Class Description:
Tomoko's choreography class combines street style hip-hop, jazz, and body conditioning to create a high intensity, fun, enjoyable 90 minute class experience. Students will learn how to perfect their performance qualities through choreography and various rhythmic exercises.
