Jason
Diaz
Choreography
Biography:
Jason Diaz is a dancer/choreographer from
NJ specializing in Urban Choreography. After learning
Popping and Waving foundation in high school, he was
introduced to Urban Choreography when he joined his
first dance team in college, Fordham Flava. After
becoming one of their main choreographers and
creative directors, he went on to dance and
choreograph for The Neighbors, a competitive dance
team based in NYC.
Since then, Jason has taken a step away from the
competition circuit to train and focus on his craft, but
teaches workshops in NYC regularly. He has trained
under industry choreographers such as Candace
Brown, Joesar Alva, and Bong Buno, and most recently
performed with the international K-pop group BTS. He
has taught numerous workshops for dance teams
throughout New York, New Jersey, and Boston - and
looks forward to meeting and dancing with more
talented movers on his dance journey!
