Julie Carter
Jazz &
Contemporary
Biography:
Julie Carter, originally from Alabama, graduated from Point Park University and has worked for Royal Caribbean and Spirit Productions. She has performed works by Jason Sparks, Luam, Mike Esperanza, Jaclyn Buglisi, Merce Cunningham, Lisa Harvie, among others. Julie is on faculty at Steps On Broadway, PMT House of Dance, Peridance Center and has been a guest teacher for Martha Graham School, Beyond The Stars Dance Convention, Liberate Artists, Ballet Hartford, and Yale University. Her work has premiered at Leg Up on Life, Peridance’s APEX, and the Steps’ Professional Performance Workshop series. She is an adjunct instructor at Sacred Heart University.
