Kate Loh
Ballet
Biography:
Kate Loh began her training at the Atlanta Ballet Center for Dance Education and went on to train in New York City at Studio Maestro, the
Joffery Ballet and under the guidance of her mentor, Nancy Bielski. Professionally she has performed a wide range of classical and
contemporary roles with Charleston Ballet Theater, Connecticut Ballet, Staten Island Ballet, Neglia Ballet Artists and with numerous New
York City-based companies.
Kate currently teaches in New York City at Peridance Center, Ballet Arts, Broadway Dance Center, and is a company teacher for Ballet
Hispanico. Additional teaching credits include: Columbia Ballet Collaborative at Columbia University, the Paul Taylor School, Staten Island
Ballet, D'Valda and Sirico Dance and Music Center, and as Ballet Mistress for the New York City-based CelloPointe.
Class Description:
Kate's classes work to achieve strength, coordination and precision, while also emphasizing the importance of musicality and artistry. There is a careful attention to detail and execution, but also a positive environment that encourages each and every dancer to succeed.
