    Leslie J. Miller

Leslie J. Miller began her training at the Hanover School of Ballet, through which she had the opportunity to travel, as an ambassador of dance, throughout Europe, China, and various venues throughout the U.S. As a scholarship student, she graduated cum laude, with a BFA in Ballet, from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. She furthered her studies at the Taylor School, the Joffrey Ballet School, River North Chicago, and with Donald Byrd of Spectrum Dance Theater. Leslie was a member of Verb Ballets, the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company II, and she was the Company Coordinator and a dancer with Dance China NY. She has performed the works of Petipa, Taylor, Balanchine, Cunningham, Humphrey, and other notable choreographers such as Seán Curran, Heinz Poll, Victoria Morgan, Jiang Qi, Tommie Waheed Evans, Richard Dickinson, and Antonio Brown. As a fellowship and scholarship recipient, she graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, with an MFA in Dance Performance. Most recently, Leslie was the Education Programs and Dance China NY Manager, at the New York Chinese Cultural Center, and she is presently teaching dance throughout the New York City area.
