    Class Description:

This improvisation class creates potential for the dancer to discover new ways of moving the body from a physical, mental, and emotional point of view. The goal of the class is to keep one moving continuously while adding on layers of tasks presented from the teacher. The tasks trigger and stimulate the trust to let go of old assumptions of who you are as a mover. We will practice folding the body in and out of expansion and intimacy, articulating each joint of the body, yawning the muscles open, the efficiency of moving up and down from the floor, moving like an animal on the ground, using your technique while distorting the shape of it, and disguising the predictability of movement.
