    Ako Ando

    Hip Hop // School at Peridance

    Biography:

    Ako is from Japan and earned her MA in Dance Education from New York University. She trained in Hip Hop, Waacking, Hula, West African and Japanese Classical Dance. She has choreographed and performed in various venues in New York City with her dance crew and as a backup dancer. She has taught in Long Island, and various venues in New York City such as Summer Dance Intensives at NYU. Ako is excited to teach and share her passion for dance as a part of the Peridance faculty!
