    Class Description

Jumps and Turns class focuses on body placement, alignment and application of technical mechanics through series’ of stationary exercises and progressions. The warm-up begins by raising the heart rate with cardio activity and builds from there with core activation and conditioning, working through foundational technical sequences, and stretching, fully preparing the body to work as efficiently as possible throughout the class. We will both break down the fundamentals of classic jumps and turns vocabulary, as well as execute more complex sequences across the floor, focusing on transitions and applying knowledge into phrases of choreography to test technique and strength.
