Bio:
Alan Danielson (School Director) has been on faculty and directing the Limón Institute School since 1991. His company, Dance by Alan Danielson, has performed throughout the US, Mexico and Europe, and his choreography is regularly performed by both professional and student companies.

Class Description:
This workshop offers an opportunity for daily classes at the advanced level with Mr. Danielson, who will also create a new work with the participants. The workshop is open, subject to placement level. There are performance opportunities on April 17, 18, and on May 9th. Dancers who participate in additional performances must be free to attend additional rehearsals.

Limón Technique emphasizes the natural rhythms of fall and recovery and the interplay between weight and weightlessness to provide dancers with an organic approach to movement that easily adapts to a range of choreographic styles.

First week Workshop, 3/8 - 3/12 (Tech + Rep): $165
Two weeks Workshop (Tech + Rep): $330

Students may drop-in Technique classes at a regular Peridance class rate. Students may not take single Repertory classes.

Any student wanting to participate only in the second week (3/15-3/19), must contact the Limón Institute directly. (212) 777-3353
