Proceeds from Dancestry Q&A classes directly funded the involved artists and were used to instigate a scholarship fund to encourage and support more BIPOC youth in taking classes at Peridance Center. For more information on this fund, please email nikki@peridance.com.
From Saturday June 6th through Sunday June 14th, Peridance Center dedicated a full week of classes to raise funds to support organizations that bring awareness to Black Lives Matter. We thank all the faculty, staff, and students who joined us in this cause.
Together we were able to raise $4,759.50 for Black Lives Matter, George Floyd's Family, The Dance Union, and NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
With this first small step we are looking forward to continuing the fight for change. Scroll down to view a list of resources and ways to get involved.
