CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
2-YEARS
The Certificate Program offers postsecondary students a two-year training for high-level intermediate and advanced students who plan on a professional career in dance. The program includes 72 weeks of study, divided into four semesters with spring, winter, and summer breaks integrated into the teaching year. Enrollment is by audition and limited to applicants between the ages of 17 to 25 years old. The program emphasizes personal attention and nurtures each student's full potential as an individual and as a performing artist. The faculty is made of established as well as innovative teachers and choreographers.
INDEPENDENT STUDY PROGRAM
​1-MONTH, 3-MONTH, 6-MONTH, & 12-MONTH
The Peridance Independent Study Program is a self-guided course of study designed and developed for both domestic and international students at different stages of their artistic and technical development. Students are admitted to the program at all levels of proficiency (Beginner through Advanced) and can begin studies on the first day of each month throughout the year. The Independent Study Program offers 18 hours of study a week, consisting of Open Classes and Program Specific Workshops. General Workshops can also be attended depending on availability and cost differences.
MOPTOP UNIVERSAL
3-MONTH OR 6-MONTH
The MOPTOP Universal Professional Program brings together some of the leaders in the street and club dance scene in New York to offer new Street and Club Dance Open Class programming and the 3-month / 6-month MOPTOP Professional Program.
The MOPTOP Universal Professional Program at Peridance Center provides students with a condensed and comprehensive learning experience within a guided and regimented street dance curriculum. The program is open for dancers of all levels ages 18+. Students learn with some of the leaders of the street and club dance scene in New York, and the program culminates in a performance at Peridance Center's KnJ Theater.
PERIDANCE COLLECTIVE
9-MONTH
Peridance Collective is a new performance-based program for dancers between the ages of 17 and 24, which is designed to reflect the experience of being in a professional company. The program is structured to cultivate their artistry through technical training, collaborative rehearsal process, and performance.
The Collective serves as a launchpad for those who aspire to have a professional career in dance. Students are given opportunities to perform throughout the tri-state area, work closely with world-renowned choreographers, develop their artistic voice through choreographic opportunities, and become a part of the larger global dance community in New York City.
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AT PERIDANCE
The International Dance School/Peridance Center is authorized under federal law, Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), to enroll non-immigrant students under an F-1 Visa Program. Peridance caters to students from all over the world including: Russia, Brazil, Israel, Germany, Austria, Italy, United Kingdom, Japan, Mexico, India, Korea, Switzerland, China, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Australia, Finland, The Netherlands, Egypt, South Africa, Jamaica, France, and Colombia.
