The PCDC Core Program Intensive is a focused, full-day training experience designed for young dancers ages 8–15 who are looking to deepen their technical foundation while developing artistry, strength, and performance skills.

Running daily from 8:30am–3:00pm, the intensive offers a structured and supportive environment where dancers train in ballet, contemporary, and repertoire. Ballet classes emphasize alignment, coordination, musicality, and strong technical fundamentals, while contemporary classes encourage versatility, dynamic movement, and expressive range. Repertoire sessions allow dancers to learn and perform material drawn from the PCDC artistic language, building performance confidence and an understanding of professional-level work.

 

This intensive is ideal for dancers who are eager to challenge themselves, refine their technique, and experience a pre-professional training setting while working within an age-appropriate and encouraging atmosphere. The program supports growth both technically and artistically, fostering discipline, curiosity, and a strong sense of ensemble.

 

This week also serves as an audition for the new PCDC Core Program at the School at Peridance. Dancers will be observed throughout the intensive, allowing faculty to assess each dancer’s technique, work ethic, and potential within a consistent training environment.
