Theater Manager — KnJ Theater Part-Time | New York City (On-Site)

Peridance Center is seeking a Theater Manager for our KnJ Theater, an intimate black box space one block from Union Square that hosts both in-house productions and rental clients from the New York dance community.

Responsibilities include:

• Hiring, scheduling, and supervising crew for all productions and rentals

• Set up and breakdown of the theater for each event

• Stage managing in-house Peridance productions

• Administering theater rentals — contracts, logistics, and client communications

• Outreach to potential rental clients and organizations

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience in theater, stage, or production management

• Familiarity with black box operations and technical theater

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple events at once

• Experience with rental or venue administration is a plus

Compensation: $19/hour for administrative hours, plus flat rate fees for theater and stage management work.
