BIOGRAPHY

Yuhee Yang is a South Korean dancer, choreographer, and movement director from Jeju Island whose work bridges the worlds of fashion and film. She brings a technically precise yet versatile approach to performance and visual storytelling.
Beginning her dance journey at the age of ten, she won numerous national titles and earned a scholarship to Seoul’s prestigious Hanlim Art High School, where she majored in Dance. In 2016, she moved to New York City to pursue further training. She completed Peridance Center’s three-year International Open Program and has performed on renowned stages including Lincoln Center, the Guggenheim, and the Joyce Theater, and more.

Yuhee has collaborated with international brands including Agent Provocateur, Aldo, Jennifer Lopez, Rina Sawayama, Bobbi Brown, Old Navy, Ralph Lauren, Gap, and Golden Goose, and more.

She continues to build her career as a choreographer and movement director, currently based between the United States and South Korea.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

In this class, students will learn and explore original choreography while developing artistic expression through Yuhee’s distinctive style and musicality. The class blends feminine elements of voguing with diverse grooves, rhythm, intricate footwork, isolations, and refined body control.

The class includes:
• Targeted warm-ups and proper stretching
• Detailed breakdowns of choreography elements and nuances
• Extended choreography learning and practice
