BIOGRAPHY

Terry Berliner is a New York City based director, choreographer, writer and educator. Her
Broadway credits include resident/assistant director for The Lion King, The Sound of Music and
The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife. Her work has been seen on and Off Broadway and in regional
theatres and universities across the country. Recent productions include the one woman show by Dipti Mehta inspired by the life of Kamladevi Chattopadhyay; the new musical New World
Comin’ by Dayle Ann Hunt (The Encore); The Red Dress Collection Concert with Demi Lovato
(Jazz at Lincoln Center); The Night of the Iguana with Daphne Rubin-Vega, Lea Delaria, Tim
Daly and Austin Pendleton (Signature Theatre); The Pianist with Daniel Donskoy (George Street
Playhouse); and On Cedar Street with Stephen Bogardus and Lauren Ward (Berkshire Theatre
Group). Terry is currently developing a new adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream with
Steven Mackenroth, Ken Cerniglia and James Abbott and the new musical Suddenly
Supernatural with Joel Adlen and Leonard Moors. She has written for The SDC Journal,
American Theatre magazine, Theatre History Studies and Theatre Bay Area and written and
directed original theatrical productions for corporate clients including Theatre Development
Fund (TDF), Vanguard, Intel, Mastercard and the PGA. She is a member of SDC Society, the
Dramatists Guild, and a core faculty member at Peridance Center in NYC. terryberliner.me
