Sarah Burke moved to New York from Richmond, Virginia after graduating from James Madison University (2010) with a BA in Dance. She dances for Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance, Flash Step Dance Crew, and has been in videos for artists like Kings of Leon, Devvon Terrell, David Chesky, AxelJordan, and Elizabeth Chan. Sarah's TV work includes TLC "Breaking Amish," A&E "The Herbert Brothers" for the making of a commercial for Crunch Fitness, Good Morning America, Pix11, and New York Live. Sarah has choreographed for S'well Bottle, Paytra Gessler, Devvon Terrell, Yahoo’s Failure Club Elizabeth Chan, and acclaimed Burmese singer Supan Htwar. She is co-choreographer for Flash Step Dance Crew. She has also choreographed for James Madison University's Associate Dance Ensemble, New Dance Collective 2015, PMT Performance Workshops 2013- 2017, Dance New Amsterdam's Summer Performance Project 2013, and for New York Dance Parade 2013 for Dance New Amsterdam. She has performed in various venues like Madison Square Garden, Hammerstein Ballroom for Broadway Bares, BAM Fisher, The Frederick P Rose Hall at Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, The Theater at BAX, Triskelion Arts, Dixon Place, The Ailey Citigroup Theater, Dance New Amsterdam, PMT Dance Studio’s Performance Space, and New York City Center. Since her time in New York, she has had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Lee, Isabel Gotzkowsky, Spark(Edit) Arts, Ash.Live.Movement, Carrie Wilds, Nina Morrison, Pavan Thimmaiah, and DEF-C Crew.
