BIOGRAPHY
Sabrina Lobner received her training from the Northwest Florida Ballet under the direction of Todd Eric Allen. While there, she studied extensively with Dorothy Daniels Lister of Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, and performed works by Fernando Bujones, Winthrop Corey, Katia Garza, and Sean Nguyen-Hilton, among others. Upon graduating high school, Sabrina joined Martha Graham Dance Company's second company, Graham 2. Graham repertory performed includes "Woman in White" in Diversion of Angels and the solos Frontier and Satyric Festival Song. She performed the classic modern solo En Dolor by Ethel Winter, and originated roles in works by Virginie Mécène and Adam Barruch. She apprenticed with Buglisi Dance Theatre and was featured in the ensemble of an AEA showcase of On the Town, directed by Richard Stafford and choreographed by Elizabeth Troxler. She continues to work with Elizabeth Troxler and had the pleasure of performing in her show Free to Be in New York City. CLASS DESCRIPTION
Class follows a traditional Graham Technique syllabus. Center and across the floor combinations are designed to familiarize students with elements of Graham repertory. The utilization of internal power in order to achieve an organic movement quality and alive and dynamic performance presence will be emphasized.
