Kevin Albert and Nicola Iervasi are the founders and Artistic Directors of Mare Nostrum Elements, a theater and dance non profit dedicated to the expression of human experiences through dance, theatre and movement. Nicola Iervasi has danced with Graham 2, Pearl Lang, Igal Perry, Max Luna III and Sokolow Now!, the Anna Sokolow Contemporary Dance Company directed by Lorry May. He also performed in Dance/Theater productions by Daniela Boensch, Brenda Baden-Semper and Deborah Zall. Choreographic credits include Dancing at Lughnasa and The Time of the Cuckoo, as well as collaborations with the Music Department of NYU and the Roccella Jazz Festival (Italy).

Since 2002 Kevin and Nicola have been teaching The Wave Within method for children and adults in New York (Peridance Capezio Center, LaGuardia High School, NYU, Trinity LaMaMa) as well as in Italy (Alto Jonio Dance Festival, IALS-Rome, Roccella Jazz Festival, University of Calabria and Toscana Dance HUB).
