BIOGRAPHY
Madison Olandt's work spans from concert to commercial, fashion runways, and feature films. Her approach is athletic, emotionally charged, and an overall mosaic of movement languages. Madison's experience behind the camera informs a love for cinematic world building.
She just recently choreographed a world tour for international pop star, Jackson Wang. She's also worked with music artists Olivia Rodrigo, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Ciara, David Byrne, Lau Noah, among others.
Madison's company work spans Pilobolus, Whim W'Him Contemporary Dance, Peridance Company, Jacob Jonas The Company, Mike Tyus and Co, Dallas Black Dance Theater, Diavolo LA, and Emursive Productions' Life n Trust. She's created work with brands like Cartier, Google, Fila, Apple, Hennessy, and Anthropologie.
Madison looks forward to a continued life of distilling the divine, alchemizing the dramas of daily life, offering simple truths, and curating a space for people to ultimately experience themselves.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Madison's movement language is described as athletic, momentum derived, grounded, and highly physical. She loves to play to the natural swing of the body that takes us off our center and in and out of the floor. She aims to awaken the inner animal through the use of all fours, the spine, and the natural folds of the body. Her movement plays with speed and rhythm while calling upon viscerality and freedom.
