CLASS DESCRIPTION
This class is intended to welcome, encourage, and support your exploration of the art form. With
a foundation of tap technique and musicality, we will begin with a warm-up that prepares for
center rudiments and across-the-floor exercises. In addition to fundamental techniques, a short
piece of choreography or introductory elements of improvisation may be visited that will allow
for the tools learned throughout the class to be put into practice. The class will be led with a
goal/theme in mind but will ultimately follow the needs of the students as we explore.
