Charlotta is the Artistic Director of Compagnie Jus de la Vie
Since the start of Compagnie Jus de la Vie 1995, Öfverholm has created over 30 productions, which has toured all over Europe, North and South America.
Her work is physical dance theatre with depth, irony, brutality and humor.

Öfverholm has worked as a dancer with numerous choreographers and companies in America and all around Europe among them DV 8 Physical Theatre/Lloyd Newson, Roberto Galván/ Tanzcompagnie Giessen, Joseph Tmim Berlin, Ramon Oller and Sol Pico in Barcelona, Corinne Lanselle Paris, Kodet Prague, Bill T. Jones Arnie Zane Company, Sean Curran and Complexions NYC, NGC25 Nantes among others. She has had leading roles as Death in Ingmar Bergmans The sveven seals by Benke Rydman, Hamlet by Robert Poole Landestheatre Linz and Alice in Alice in Wonderland by Roberto Galvan Stadttheater Giessen. Currently touring Alexander Ekmans Kuckel around Sweden.
Charlotta choreographes comissioned works for companies such as GöteborgsOperans Dancecompany, Norrdans, RTV, Spira, Royal Opera Stockholm, Landestheater Linz, VerTe Dance Prague, Stadtheater Münster and made a piece for Peridance CDC in 2016.
Lately she has been creating several films which you can see for example at Sadlers Wells Digital stage.
Running the project Age on Stage to celebrate maturity on stage.
She has been teaching all around Eurpoe and NYC and is on faculty at Balettakadmien in Stockholm teaching modern classes.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Charlotta Öfverholms class is formed by her background both as a highly technical contemporary dancer and as an actress and former DV8 Physical Theatre member. Focus on both moving big in space as well as grounded to the floor and one selves center. After a physical and technical warm up with both floor work and barre, follows choreographic phrases and variations, where dynamics changes from power to more lyrical movements.
