Besides his packed teaching schedule, he also directs his own company, BOLD - which is a culmination of friends and dancers of his that he's met throughout his career. He's been able to push his artistic boundaries with this group in the past few years and hopes to share their talent beyond performances at community events. Signed with MSA Agency, Bo has had the opportunity to work with artists like Travis Scott, BTS, Jonas Brothers, Todrick Hall, and TruSol. Recently, he's been able to movement direct and choreograph for Alex Mill NY.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Beginner Choreography: The basis of Bo's choreography is a strong foundation in Hip Hop grooves and street styles, as well as foundations in Jazz. Although some of these movements may seem foreign to students, Bo breaks them down to its simplest form and allows for many repetitions before moving on to the next phrase. This class is focused on understanding the mechanics of movement needed for choreography. Class will entail a full warmup, drills on grooves, as well as a phrase of choreography. The drills will be featured in the combo taught that day. All levels are welcome, from newer students who want to understand street style dancing more, to advanced level dancers, who want to brush up on their basic skills. Bo wants the space to feel safe for his students to learn, mess up and have fun.

Intermediate Choreography: This class is focused on choreography based in Hip Hop grooves and Street Jazz. Focusing on elevating basic vocabulary through textures, dynamics, musicality and performance. Theses concepts will be applied during the combo taught that day. Although movement is at a higher level, Bo wants to ensure a safe space for everyone to learn and grow.  Each combination is different and unique, but will always be a good challenge physically and mentally for his students. Bo encourages students to have more than a basic understanding of their body and movement to get the full capacity of class.
