Nuevo Tango Arts & PCDC present PIAZZOLLA100 Festival Opening Night Concert

Let the magical spirit of Buenos Aires, its tango music, dance and song take you into the dreamscape of “TANGO BAR,” the heart of Porteño culture where conversations, love and stories converge. Performance by PBS featured Cuartetango Music & Dance Co. under the direction of Leonardo Suarez-Paz, 4^th generation tango artist and mentee of Astor Piazzolla, 2xLatin Grammy nominated Curatetango string quartet (Leonardo Suarez-Paz, Francisco Salazar, Jon Weber, Danny Miller), Grammy-winning bandoneonist Rodolfo Zanetti, tango dancers Guillermo Merlo, Jairelbhi Furlong, Leonardo Suarez-Paz and Olga Suarez-Paz. 

And featuring excerpts from “The Rites of Love,” composed by Piazzolla’s mentee - Leonardo Suarez-Paz and choreographed for New York's Peridance Contemporary Dance Company (PCDC) by its Artistic Director, Igal Perry.
