Leo Mujic
Ballet
Biography:
After graduation at the ballet school in Belgrade, he studied at the Maurice Bejart’ Rudra Bejart School in Lausanne. In his professional career he has performed in the ballets by Jiri Kylian, Marguerite Donlon, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Luca Silvestrini, Maurice Bejart, Mats Ek and many others.As a freelance artist he has participated in projects and ballet-gala events around the world, such as the Ballet- Gala ‘Malakhov & Friends’ at the Berlin Deutsche Oper or the International Ballet-Gala ‘Stars of the 21st Century’ in Paris, Toronto, Budapest and other cities. He has shared the stage with the stars of the Stuttgart Ballet and the Queensland Ballet, amongst others.
As a choreographer, he has choreographed ballets for the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, the Slovenian National Theatre in Ljubljana, the State Ballet Berlin, the State Ballet Augsburg, he has created an independent project with the soloists of the new National Ballet in Tokyo, a solo for Aurelie Dupont, who performs with the Paris Opera Ballet, as well as projects for the City Festival in Ljubljana, for a festival in Sisak, for the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival in Massachusetts, the Holland Dance Festival, the SBBS (Schweizerische Ballett Berufs Schule) in Zurich, the National Theatre in Pecuj, and projects for the Opera in Novi Sad and the Opera at the Serbian National Theatre in Belgrade,Creation for evolution dance cie from Budapest and creation for hungarian nationale dance academie.
As a pedagogue, he has held workshops and given classes with, among others HNK, Zagreb, SNG Ljubljana, SNG Maribor, HNK Split, the Comic Opera House Berlin, the Saarland Ballett in Saarbrücken, the Jacob's Pillow, the Volksoper Vienna and the Open Studio Architanz in Tokyo.
