    Kim Whittam

    Ballet // School at Peridance Faculty

    Biography:

    Kim Whittam received her MFA degree in Dance from New York City’s Tisch School of the Arts and her BFA from Montclair State University, where she is currently on the faculty. Her work has recently been performed at Symphony Space, St. Mark’s Church, Joyce Soho, the Clark Theater at Lincoln Center, HEREArt, Dance Space, The East Village Arts Alliance, Mulberry Street Theatre, and Gowanis Arts Exchange, among others. She has performed with and created works for Red Dive, Amalgamated Performance Group, Temple University, Montclair State University, Virginia Ballet Theatre, The Erick Hawkins Dance Company, The Virginia Governor’s School for the Arts, Bucknell University, and Old Dominion University, among others, as well as various national and international dance festivals, and has received recognition for her choreographic work from Jacob’s Pillow, the American College Dance Festival and the National Association of Schools of Dance.
