    Class Description:

In this two hour workshop we will be learning, deconstructing and playing with a small section from a work by William Forsythe - The Vile Parody of Address.

We will explore how we worked at the Frankfurt Ballet and how we approached dance as a way of understanding space and time.

How authentic speed and velocity can allow us into a freedom for quick decision making to make movements unique to us but also sticking to specific guidelines and goals.

We will learn about principals of how to break down the choreography and using improvisational ideas to help understand how to expand our own movement range.

To learn and grow as dancers.

Since it is a short workshop please be well warmed up before. Or even better take my fun ballet class before.

Ballet shoes are preferred but dancers can also be in socks.
