    Biography:

    Alexandra Wells was a faculty member at Ecole Supérieure de Danse du Quebec in Montréal, Canada from 1995-97. She has since been an Invited Guest Teacher for the Boston Ballet Company, The Julliard School and Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. She danced professionally with Boston Ballet, Dennis Wayne’s DANCERS and Lyon Opera Ballet. As Etoile of the Ballet National de Nancy, Ms. Wells toured the world and formed lasting partnerships with the late Sir Rudolf Nureyev for six years and Patrick Dupont for four. During her fourteen year tenure, she danced principle roles in the classics as well as the ballets of Balanchine, Folkine, Nijinsky, Lifar, Culberg, Bejart, DeMille, Neumier, Kylián, Van Manen, Limón, Christy and Dove. Currently, Ms. Wells is a fulltime faculty member at the Julliard School in New York City, teaching various levels of Ballet and Pointe as well as rehearsal assistant for invited choreographers.
