Founded in 2003 by Artistic Director Larry Keigwin and Associate Director Nicole Wolcott, KEIGWIN + COMPANY creates and presents Keigwin's electrifying brand of contemporary dance. K+C reaches national and international audiences and invigorates diverse communities with a refreshing vision of dance that embodies a theatrical sensibility of wit, style, and heart.

Community projects and education seek to physically engage audiences and aspiring dancers in movement and the choreographic process, and bring opportunities for individuals to become more invested in dance.

This class is geared towards offering a studio practice to the dancing artist, where technique is addressed as one tool on the artistic belt. We will use curiosity and a sense of humor in a playful, but rigorous investigation of contemporary technique; Then we will "unpack" a fun movement phrase considering weight, effort, time and flow while taking risks with clear choice-making. The entire class encourages authenticity as well as joy in movement. Get to know the movement in your body, get to know yourself. Come play.
