GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®
 Teacher Training Programs

The GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Teacher Training Programs are open to Domestic and International Students.

Thank you for your interest in Peridance Capezio Center's GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Teacher Training Programs., These specialized 12-months programs are a wonderful opportunity for students to come to New York City and train in the GYROTONIC® methodology, while studying dance of the highest caliber at a state of the art dance center.

About the GYROTONIC® Program

The main focus of this program is to educate students to become professional GYROTONIC® instructors.

This program offers:

• GYROTONIC® Classes - throughout the program, students receive private sessions with a certified instructor.
• GYROKINESIS® Classes - students are required to take 4 GYROKINESIS® classes every month.
• Dance Classes - students are required to take 16 dance classes per month, according to their level. Ballet and Modern classes are required. Students may choose from an offering of over 250 weekly classes including Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, House, Tap, Salsa, Flamenco, African Based and more.
• Throughout the program, all students participate in a GYROTONIC® Pre-Training Course, Foundation Teacher Training Course, Supervised apprentice hours and supervised review course.

How to Apply

To ensure your application is processed on time, please apply 3 months in advance from the program's start date. Starting dates are:

GYROTONIC® 12-MONTHS PROGRAM: September 1st
GYROKINESIS® 12-MONTHS PROGRAM: March 1st

• If you are under 18 years old, a letter of consent from parent or legal guardian.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Students already enrolled in the Peridance Open, Limon or Certificate programs may apply to transfer to this program.
  Transferring between programs is an option for eligible students.

International Students

• Applications should be submitted no less than 3 months prior to the desired start date

Tuition

$200 non refundable application fee.

All fees are subject to change. Participation in special workshops, seminars or master classes may incur additional costs.
