    Bio
Kristin Sudeikis illumines the arts with her awe and passion for both dance and music, in a word, for humanity. Kristin is currently a highly sought after choreographer for Television, Film, & Stage.

Most recently, Kristin choreographed and produced STAND - a sold out dance concert benefiting the GEMS Organization in NYC. Right before that she, along with a number of dedicated artists, completed their 1st run of six sold out concerts of "The Light Remains: Exploring the Idea of Possibility." This original dance production was conceived, choreographed, and produced by Kristin and presented at NYC's Gene Frankel Theater. This production is in the process of going on its first National Tour, beginning in San Francisco and closing in New York City.

Kristin Sudeikis Dance was honored to be invited to present her new work, "Question It All" in the 2012 APAP presentation at the Salvatore Capezio Theatre.

Other recent credits include producing, choreographing, and dancing in her original concert entitled, "Even In Silence..." This concert explored all of those things left unsaid to sold out audiences in NYC. Kristin is a choreographer and dancer for the Emmy award winning NBC hit 30 Rock, NIKE, Under Armour and Oxygen Channel's Dance Your A$$ Off. Too, she has been a back up dancer for Crunch on Exercise TV, The Today Show, Fox News, ABC News, and Good Morning America. She has also been a back up dancer for events affiliated with Self Magazine & Oprah. Some of her print work includes Shape Magazine & Vogue Magazine. She has also been featured in Dance Studio Life Magazine & Dance Teacher Magazine. With much enthusiasm, Kristin continues to travel setting work on dance companies and for events all over the world. Recently, Kristin had the great privilege to go abroad to present master dance classes at the 2011 and 2012 NIKE Blast in Stockholm, Sweden.

Kristin focuses on musicality, technique, and athleticism, thus bringing her unrepeatable, unique spirit to the classroom, one dancer, one class at a time. The energy and commitment that she brings to each project, be it television, film, stage, or in the classroom is passionate and uplifting. Kristin has a recognizable gift to create a space where artists, dancers, and actors can elevate themselves while giving their performance a more authentic quality. She is currently on the Contemporary faculty at Peridance Capezio Center and recently had the honor to present the world premiere of "I Am You." "I Am You" is an original work choreographed and conceived for the Peridance Contemporary Company, their spring season begins in April 2012. Kristin's emphasis on creating pure and intense movement strikes an emotional chord with those she works with, for she avails herself to being present to the given moment, hence why her inspiration erupts from every walk of life. An indefatigable study of the human body, both inside and out, is brought into her classes, performances, and most notably her choreography. Ultimately, Kristin encourages dancers to reach far beyond any limitations they may perceive to have, she utters: “Only then, can they tap into what they want to become. Dance is a gift, it is the Universal language. Study hard and take care of it. Never cease to strive for the artist you want to become.”

Kristin Sudeikis resides in New York City.

    Class Description
With an intense focus on musicality, technique and a moving from one's center, Kristin's class begins with a fusion of a proper dance and a yoga-inspired warm-up. She then shifts into techniques that offer dancers time to hone in on their balance, feet, plie, extension and core - all the while paying specific attention to the music. This way the dancers can begin to become present in the room as well as in their bodies. It is important to be a conscientious and mindful dancer. Giving attention to these qualities will produce a more successful dancer and overall artist. Kristin's movement strives to explore both explosive and free vocabulary. Strength and grace are both sought after and encouraged depending on the music chosen for the specific combination.
Any music from Ingrid Michaelson to Radiohead to Ani Difranco to Ray Lamontagne can be found in her class. Music is the essence and inspiration for her movement every time! In Kristin's class, you are encouraged to push your technique, open your mind, and challenge yourself - because the most fun you will have dancing... is when you conquer those perceived challenges.
