    Margaret Jones

    Body Conditioning

    Biography:

Margaret Jones hails from Raleigh, North Carolina where she grew up dancing competitively. She continued her training at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she received a BFA in Contemporary Dance in 2015. Since moving to New York Margaret has performed with BARE Dance company, Abarukas, Depth Dance, Inclined Dance, among others, both nationally and internationally. She received her Mat Pilates certification through Linda Ferrel, under her LindaFit program in 2016 and is currently working towards her NASM personal training certification. Margaret currently teaches mat and modified reformer classes at Flex Studios and RISE by We.

    Class Description:

In her class Margaret works students towards foundational stability and mobility in all planes of motion. Her goal is to marry classical mat repertoire and basic functional training with ideas that may present themselves in a dance setting. This way students can connect the dots from one to the other to access optimal alignment and a general ease in movement.
