    Limón

    Biography:

    Elisa Schreiber is an international performer and teacher. She was a guest artist with the Limon Dance Company from 2011- 2015, and has worked with Dance Heginbotham, Dance by Alan Danielson, Kathryn Alter and Dancers, and MeenMoves. Elisa has had the pleasure to perform solo works by Kathryn Alter, Anna Sokolow, Doris Humphrey, and Jose Limón in New York and abroad. Currently, Elisa is producing her own work, as well as collaborating with the Swiss-based Compagnie Anne-Sophie Fenner, Sue Bernhard Danceworks, The Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble, and 277 Dance Project.


    Elisa teaches Contemporary and Limón to students of all ages and abilities, and has taught at the Peridance children's program, New York Theater Ballet School, Spoke the Hub, Dance Heginbotham, Duke University, and the Peridance Center. Currently, Elisa is faculty with the Limón Institute, including Limón4Kids, Connecticut Dance Center and at Marymount Manhattan College.
