Biography:
Creative director, Producer, writer and Director/ choreographer (currently for Madison Square Garden and The New York Knicks Entertainment) for over 75 large scale multi million dollar-plus private and corporate events, general sessions and summits, as well as many hit network and cable shows such as Dancing With The Stars (2011- 2013), America's Best Dance Crew (MTV), NBC's The Sing Off with Nicole Scherzinger, Natasha Bettingfield, Smokey Robinson, Ben Folds, The Academy Awards (ABC), MTV Awards, VMAs, Skating with the Stars (ABC), The Winter Olympics Torino and Vancouver (Artistic Director for the US Olympic Figure Skating and Ice Dancing teams), Summer Olympic Gymnastic post tour with Black Eyed Peas, Mad TV(FOX), SNL (NBC), NIKE commercials and live telecasts for huge sports and music stars, Political conventions such as Demo 2000 with Streisand @ The Shrine, Seth McFarland's Oscars, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions, and multi million dollar corporate and private events such as the CES, (Las Vegas) (Compaq, Samsung and Apple), Nissan Brazil, NYC Fashion Week 2013, Mercedes Auto Show, Toyota Commercial Campaign 1997- 2004 (various print and commercial direction) IBEW international summits (New Orleans, San Francisco, Cleveland), Reebok Int'l Summit 2013 (Phoenix) with Alicia Keyes, Oracle Open World with Lenny Kravitz, City wide NIKE Marathons, New York's Fashion week, Harry Winston, Nat'l Rock tour for Camel and Absolute, McDonald's corp production tour, world tours and/or music videos for Bette Midler, Liza Minelli, Garth Brooks, Brooks and Dunne, My Chemical Romance, Kings of Leon, Fuel, Puddle of Mudd, Sean Lennon, Ricky Martin. For 3 full seasons, JT served as Creative Director for NIKE West and NIKE Sportswear where he created, wrote and directed a new medium in entertainment: “Sports-Theatre/Live Web Cast”. Recently Choreographed for Taylor Swift, The Pulse Convention, China Dance TV show for Tencent, Capezio Award show “Gone” at Ailey Center for Melinda Sullivan, Superbowl entertainment for Bruno Mars at MSG, APAP “Reasonable Doubt” and Rocky Redux to be on tour next season nation wide.
