    Biography:

    Born and raised in Shizuoka, Japan. Ayami started dancing at the age of five in ballet. By ten years old, she joined both a musical theater group & Jazz dance school. Within a few years at the age of thirteen, she started choreographing at the musical school. She then moved to New York and has been trained at Broadway dance center extensively in Hip Hop and Modern, but has found her artistic passion in styles such as Hip Hop, House, Locking and Waacking. She has performed and taught throughout Japan and overseas. She recently performed in "The Devouring” on Broadway presented by House Of Yes, featured as a lead dancer for Izzy Escobar’s “WARRIOR” music video, Summer stage NYC, Credo beauty commercial.


    Class Description:



    Ayami kindly shows how to control each parts of body by strong isolation training and basic steps, understanding musicality. Then continues to a FUN choreography. No need to overthink to make a first move for this welcoming class!
