    Class Description:

His week-long workshop serves as a unique opportunity to learn select material from the most recent repertory works of Jonah Bokaer Choreography. Beginning with a warm-up focused on energetically charging the body, dancers will prepare for movement experimentation incorporating ideas from dance, theater, architecture and media. Special emphasis will be placed on exploring repertory phrases and concepts, with the opportunity to gain insight to the generative process of the choreography. During / after the workshop, up to two (2) dancers may become selected for an opportunity to perform with Jonah Bokaer Choreography in Hudson, NY during the inaugural edition of “The Hudson Eye,” with the company, between August 16 - September 2, 2019.
