    Biography:

    Alex Tenreiro Theis is a dancer, singer, and choreographer from Colorado. She began dancing at a young age and trained at The Turning Pointe Dance Academy, University of Colorado Boulder, Bates Dance Festival, Doug Varone and Dancers Summer Intensive and ultimately earned her BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. As a dancer she has performed nationally and internationally in Malaysia, Mexico, Spain, and Israel and will perform in Mexico again next fall for Mexico City's FIDCDMX. Alex is currently a member of Yoshito Sakuraba’s Abarukas, Eryc Taylor Dance, and Angie Moon Dance Theater, but has also worked with Gregory Dolbashian, Pamela Pietro, Erica Randall, Cameron Mckinney|Kizuna Dance, ROVACO Dance company, and Asia Duo Dance Company to name a few.


    Class Description:



    Class focuses on engaging the subtlety of movement in an athletic and graceful approach. With a heavy base in floor work and ballet, the class will move through all levels of space and the transitions between, adding details and complexity as the class progresses.
