Coco Motion
Waacking
Biography:
Coco Motion (Christina James) is a native NYC dancer, choreographer and educator. She began dancing at the age of 8, learning African, musical theater and jazz. While earning her degree at Marymount Manhattan College she began to venture into the street style world learning about house, hip hop and mainly waacking.
She has assisted and trained under Princess
Lockeroo, as well as Tyrone Proctor and Nubian Néné to name a
few.
Currently coco is a member of an active member of the
"house of de la Blanca" teaches waacking at the house of
duende, competes in international and national waacking
battles. taught a workshop in Guangzhou, China this
summer and working to actively spread the knowledge of
waacking.
