    Biography:

    The contemporary dance company Oniin Dance Company plays a strong desire of communication that uses the language of soma as a primary tool of espressione.Grazie artistic director Daniela Rapisarda, the choreographic duo between two creative choreographers and dancers innovativie 7 faulted, the Company is become in a few years of one of the most prestigious contemporary panoramainternazionale.

    The first production "Corruption" has indeed won the Italian theaters and around the world obtaining consents in New York, Hong Kong, Seoul and Stuttgart;and so are the subsequent "Tribute to Morricone" and "Oniriko" .The company holds workshops and open class in the mondo.Il its unique style, created by the alternation of technique and style, breaking the traditional mold to rework them in harmonic motion and sinuous channel that make the company a creative innovation.

    Classes are co-taught by Daniela Rapisarda and Alessandro Vacca.


    Daniela Rapisarda

    Biography:





    Dancer, actress, singer, stage manager and international choreographer. After graduating in ballet at D.A.I. (Dance Art International), in London, she specialized in contemporary dance. She performed in some major Italian theaters in Rome, Milan, Florence, Verona, Siena, Bari, Naples, Sanremo, Turin, Genoa and Venice, and in some important international theaters in New York (Manhattan Center), Paris (Olympia), Montecarlo (Salle Garnier Opera), Foxwood (Fox Theater), Toronto (Rama Theater), Sanint Vincent (Billia) and a lot more. She worked as a dancer and choreographer with important artists such as Claudio Baglioni, Giancarlo Giannini and Massimo Ranieri among others. With Mr.Ranieri she worked from 2007 to 2012, taking part in the following shows: “Poveri ma Belli” 2008/2010 (singer, actress, dancer),“Sogno e son desto” 2010 (dancer), and “Canto perché non so From 2012 to 2014 she worked as the Artistic Director of the dance section at “Teatro delle Celebrazioni” in Bologna (Italy) where she established: “Binario 234” 2012 international festival of contemporary dance, “Celebrazioni in Danza” 2012/2013 international dance competition, and “Oniin Dance Company” 2012 contemporary dance company of which she is Artistic Director and choreographer. Her Company became for both national and international critics one of the most innovative European Contemporary realities. For Oniin Dance Company Daniela took care of the direction and the choreographies of different productions, including: “Corruption” (2012), “Omaggio a Morricone” (2012), “Oniriko” (2013), “Phonè W” (2014), and “Bataclan/13” (2016) created for the Certificate Program of the Peridance Center, New York. Some of these pieces were born thanks to the collaboration with the choreographer Alessandro Vacca. The Company productions and workshops besides standing out in the European dance scene,have been performed in New York, Seoul, Busan, Miami, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Daniela is currently working at Peridance Capezio Center, New York.


    Alessandro Vacca

    Biography:





    He began dancing mainly solo roles in many Italian theaters such as the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, Teatro Scenario Public Catania, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Arena Sferisterio of Macerata, the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Greek Theatre in Rome, Teatro Ponchielli of Cremona, the Teatro Nuovo in Turin, Teatro La Fourmi Lucerne, Dansens Hus in Stockholm, the Municipal Theatre of Morocco (Rabat and Casablanca), Teatro Vittorio Emanuele of Messina, Teatro delle Saline of Cagliari. He serves as a soloist in the temples of Italian opera in works such as Turandot, Mephistopheles, Barber of Seville, broadcast on Rai 1 in the television program "Before the first".

    In 1998, he was a soloist dancer and assistant choreographer in the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Evita" for the Theatre of Ammunition or Planet Musical directed by Massimo Romeo Piparo. Alessandro Vacca also wrote for major national magazines in thedance industry, like "Ballet Today" and "open rehearsals".

    In 1999, he joined, as a solo dancer, the "Compagnia Zappala Danza" - former Ballet of Sicily, the company that has its own repertoire of contemporary dance and its own style, such that it is considered one of the most important companies of Italian dance, winning with authority even in the European art scene with appreciation of the critical sector. For the Company Zappala, Alessandro Vacca interpreted the most important choreographic creations of director Roberto Zappala: Pasolini's Internet age, Mediterranean lasdf (Where he was also the author of several texts and songs in the project), extracts from Cap sonagl, Stravinsky Project - the wish for union, time code, TZ 001 (created for the dancers of the theater "La Scala Milan "), Les Noces, Pulcinella, patchwork Groove Quartet, Soliloquyli. In 2003, he directed a dance troupe of twenty elements, signing the choreography for the tour Sicilian Claudio Baglioni "There are too." In 2004/05, he taught contemporary dance technique and repertory theater at the "Scenario Public" in Catania for the advanced course of the "Company Zappala Dance" with dancers- students selected throughout Europe. He has worked regularly with the study of fashion "Ferrera" as a performer and choreographer -ballerino, signing all the choreography of the shows for haute couture presentations of new collections 2003- 2007.

    In 2007, he took part as a solo dancer in the new production of the choreographer Roberto Zappalà for the "Compagnia Zappala Danza" entitled "Instruments 1 discover the invisible", choreography created for seven dancers men from all over Europe; production currently engaged in an international tour. In 2012, he was invited to work by the artistic dance section Daniela Rapisarda as choreographer and principal dancer of the permanent company of contemporary dance Oniin Dance Company.
