Biography:
Jason Wise is the Director & Choreographer of National Lampoon's Full House, the Musical, starring Perez Hilton, which opened in Toronto, Canada and is currently running off-Broadway in New York City.Recent Credits include the World Premiere of The Wolf at Theater Raleigh (Choreographer); Lifetime's Dance Moms (Season 5); American Showstoppers: Irving Berlin starring Karen Ziemba, Brent Barrett & Lee Roy Reams at Pace University (Director/Choreographer), The 50th Anniversary Concert of Fiddler on the Roof starring BD Wong, Stephanie J. Block, Len Cariou, Tovah Feldshuh, & Linda Lavin (Choreographer); National Tour of 4 Girls 4 starring Andrea McArdle, Donna McKechnie, Faith Prince, Leslie Uggams & Maureen McGovern (Associate Choreographer); See What I Wanna See at The Producers Club (Director/Choreographer), and the original East Village production and subsequent off-Broadway transfer of Showgirls: The Musical starring Rena Riffel (Choreographer & Associate Director) and the long running Bayside! The Musical! starring Dennis Haskins & Dustin Diamond (Choreographer & Associate Director).
Special Events: Rutgers Gala at New York Live Arts starring Paige Davis (Choreographer), Night of a Thousand Judys starring Carolee Carmello, Julia Murney, Sierra Boggess, Ashley Brown and The Radio City Rockettes (Director & Choreographer), 54 Below Christmas Spectacular (starring Jackie Hoffman), and The Broadway Beauty Pageant featuring Michael Urie, Andrea Martin, and Billy Porter (Assistant Choreographer).
Former Resident Choreographer at Ellen's Stardust Diner, home of New York’s world-famous singing wait staff. Faculty at Broadway Dance Center (New York), The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (New York). Guest Teacher: The Joffery Ballet School (New York), National Ballet School (Toronto), The Pinapple (London, UK). As a performer: US National Tours of both Disney's Beauty and the Beast, and over 800 performances in Cats, which he also performed in Canada, Columbia, Costa Rica, Panama, and Venezuela. Film/TV: The Normal Heart (HBO), The Wolf of Wall Street (directed by Martin Scorsese), The Amazing Spider Man 2, Smash (NBC), Pan Am (ABC). Disney Cruise Line (Wonder - Nassau, Bahamas). AMDA, French Woods, and Stagedoor Manor alumnus.
Mentored by ten-time Tony Award Winner, Tommy Tune.
