A proud native of Capitol Heights, MD, Marcus was introduced to the
entertainment industry shortly after receiving his B.S. in Family and
Consumer Sciences at North Carolina A&T State University. He
began his pursuit to commercial dance in Atlanta, GA where he
worked with the group iLuminate, from the hit tv show, America’s Got
Talent. Afterwards he relocated to New York City where his
choreography was first seen in the off-broadway show, "Artist of
Light”, at the Duke on 42nd Theater and New World Stages. His
commercial career started with Bloc Talent Agency, where he is a
resident Dancer, and Instructor. He has worked with renowned
choreographers, such as, Tanisha Scott, Rich & Tone Talauega, Luam
Keflezgy, Gil Duldulao and Jermaine Browne to name a few. Credits
include Janet Jackson, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey,
Daddy Yankee, Jidenna, Salt n Pepa, and more. He has been featured
on the Netflix Original Series: The Get Down, Grammy Awards Show,
MTV Video Music Awards Show, ABC, BET, and CBS Networks.
Marcus is a great entertainer who dedicates his career to his mother,
Ola Kelly-Avant, his guardian angel.
