    Class Description:

Vive aspires to cultivate a space for artists to tune in with how they feel and connect it to their movement. The warm up is a culmination of meditative exercises, a choreographed flow of movement inspired by Qi-Gong, while implementing elements of deconstructed ballet and jazz vocabulary. Vive emphasis improvisation, introducing various tasks for the dancer to research for themselves. There are elements of floorwork worked into the warm up and across the floor. The phrase work is an exploration of contemporary movement, which can be described as Flow and Floor. Each part of class lends itself to the next, so there is continuous movement, learning and growth.
