Jaclyn Walsh
Contemporary
Biography:
JACLYN WALSH (Dancer) named "25 to Watch" in 2015 by Dance Magazine, began her training at the Walnut Hill School under the direction of Michael Owen. Jaclyn graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where she received the Tisch Achievement Scholarship in Dance. Her own choreography has been seen at the 92nd St. Y Friday's at Noon Series, the American Dance Guild Festival, Perceptions Contemporary Dance Festival, Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, the Young Choreographer's Dance Festival, New York University's Past/Forward, SummerStage Main Stage in Central Park and Dancers Responding to AIDS's Dancin' Downtown at The Joyce Theater in New York City, where she received The Choreography Award in 2012 and 2013. Jaclyn choreographed and performed in Vienna Teng's music video "Level Up." She was also named a finalist in the 2014 Capezio A.C.E. Awards for choreographic excellence. In 2014, DanceSpirit magazine recognized Jaclyn as one of the thirteen dance world's "Hottest Young Choreographers." Jaclyn currently dances with KEIGWIN + COMPANY and has been a member since 2011.Photo by Murphy Made Photography
