Welcome to Peridance Capezio Center! Whether you are a beginner, an established professional dancer, or anywhere in between, our first-rate faculty will challenge and encourage you to reach your goals. With more than 25 years as one of New York City's leading dance schools, Peridance Capezio Center presents a range of traditional and cutting-edge techniques for the ultimate dance education experience.

Our beautiful new location houses 16,000 square feet of column-free, state-of- the-art studios. Choose from over 250 different weekly classes in everything from ballet to Zumba, see the latest works by emerging and established choreographers at our 160-seat Salvatore Capezio Theater, or relax and energize at our café. You can also satisfy all your shopping needs at our Capezio dancewear boutique located on our lower level!

At Peridance, all of our adult classes are open, so you can join in anytime during the year at the level that best suits you. In addition to a multitude of open classes, you can choose from many exciting workshops offered throughout the year. Workshops and master classes at Peridance offer a unique opportunity for students to fully experience the work and methods of major choreographers, master teachers, and directors. They also serve as a platform for participants to be seen by these teaching artists; many of our students have been asked to perform after having been seen in a Peridance workshop!

When you come to Peridance the first time, please arrive about 15 minutes prior to class to fill out a short registration form and receive your Studen ID Number. From then on, you'll just stop by the Front Desk to sign-in and pay before each class, using your Student ID Number. For information about class fees and to learn about special savings when you buy a class-card package, please visit our Class Rates page. Students are also welcome to come and observe a class before they try it. Just stop by the Front Desk to let them know which class you'd like to observe and finds out the studio location.
