How to Audition
The Certificate Program accepts students by audition ONLY. You may choose one of the following ways to audition:

• Attend one of Peridance's public auditions. (See "Audition Tour Schedule")
• Arrange to take an open class at Peridance as an audition with Certificate Program Coordinator.
• Send a DVD by mail (Peridance Capezio Center, ATTN: Certificate Program, 126 E. 13th Street New York, NY 10003) or Video Link by e-mail. Include a 3 to 5 minute solo of any style/choreography you choose, demonstrating technical ability, quality of movement, and musicality.

To apply and audition for the program, please fill out the online REGISTRATION FORM, pay the $25 Registration Fee, and provide the following documents:

• Academic and Dance Resumes
• Headshot
• Two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a professional in the field of dance
• A short description (up to 1 page, single spaced) about who you are and what you hope to achieve in your training and dance career
• Include any additional dance certificates, awards, etc. as a subsection in your resume

Please note that you will not be able to complete your registration or audition without submitting these documents. All necessary documents must be submitted via e-mail or mail and must be in clear English.

International Students

• Applications should be submitted no less than 3 months prior to the desired start date
• All application materials must be submitted in English

Audition Tour Schedule
Each audition will consist of a 1.5 hours ballet class followed by a contemporary combination.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the audition times below.

Miami, March 24, 2012, 1:00-2:30 PM at New World School of the Arts

Tokyo, Japan, March 31, 2012, 4:00-7:00 PM at ARCHITANZ

New York City*, April 15, 2012, 2:30-4:00 PM

Scholarship Audition
Our Certificate Program Scholarship Audition is held every year in June. Students interested in joining the Program and receiving Scholarship should attend this audition. However, any current, incoming, and prospective student may audition for a half tuition scholarship. Students are evaluated on technical skill, movement and performance quality, as well as on merit and financial need. Peridance Capezio Center reserves the right to grant or deny scholarships at its sole discretion.
